Greetings to you all.I am Son Chang-wan, President of KAC Voluntary Service Group.

Since its inception and taking a step further from general corporate activities, KAC has been implementing the “sharing management“ whereby all staff practice voluntary activities for the disadvantaged in a bid to fulfill the roles and responsibilities as a sound corporate citizen.

Such activities include, but are not limited to social welfare projects for the disadvantaged and the underserved, educational projects for youth and children, and scholarship, culture and environmental projects. There is also the “multicultural family support project”, a specialized voluntary KAC service designed to utilize the characteristics of KAC as the airport professional. For the multicultural families, the apparent minority in our society, can lead a healthy and happy life through diverse activities and services such as mentoring, overseas youth camp, visits to their native country, English camp, study room upgrades, life story contest, and bilingual education.

Based on these activities, we also set up an enterprise-wide social service group, related funds, and dedicated departments for more organized and systematic efforts so that we can meet citizens' demands in this age of companies' social roles and responsibilities. KAC will implement these efforts on the level of a whole enterprise based on the full understanding that fulfilling such demands for social contribution is an essential part of sustainable management and social responsibilities. Meanwhile, meeting economic, legal, and ethical responsibilities.
