    Items prohibited onboard for air safety and security

    Be sure to keep these in mind when packing for travel!

    We strongly recommend carrying as few personal items as possible for safety. Especially make sure that you carry only one small carry-on bag in the cabin that can be put into the stowage bin. In addition, be sure to have a label with your name, address, and destination clearly legible on both inside and outside of the carry-on bag.

    Do not put valuable items such as laptop, camcorder, camera, jewelry, and antiques in the checked luggage - carry them in the carry-on bag or with you. The airline or airport authorities shall not be held liable for loss or damage of such items or cash, valuables, contract document, dissertation, medication, etc.

    Each airline applies different criteria for weight and dimensions; thus, make sure your luggage does not exceed the criteria and pack it to prevent any damage to it or its content. The airline shall be notified in advance of special items such as bicycle or surfboard or animal so that they can be transported safely under appropriate procedures in a timely manner.

    Generally, flights to the Americas apply limits to the number of items, whereas those to other areas apply limits to weight. Check your flight route and ticket class.

    Items prohibited in the cabin

    Items such as a multipurpose knife (MacGyver knife), cutter knife, scissors, fruit knife, and golf club are to be contained in the checked luggage as they are prohibited in the cabin.

    Items prohibited in the checked luggage

    Items such as lighter, e-cigarette, and power bank need to be carried with you in the cabin due to risk of explosion. Only one lighter is allowed per passenger.
    A power bank with capacity of more than 160Wh is prohibited in both cabin and checked luggage -- contact the airline if you need to carry such item

    Lithium (ion) batteryAn extra lithium (ion) battery for camera, laptop, or mobile device shall be insulated at the poles to prevent short circuit, and up to 5 extra batteries with capacity of less than 100Wh can be carried per passenger. Each airline operates different criteria for more additional batteries or capacity; thus, the best way is to consult in advance the airline you are flying.Generally, up to 2 batteries with capacity of 100Wh~160Wh can be in the cabin, but those bigger than 160Wh are not allowed.

    Calculating the power capacity (Wh) of power bank: Voltage (V) x Ampere hour (Ah)Ex) 10000mAh, 3.6V For a power bank : 3.6 x 10 = 36Wh
    * 1000mAh=1Ah
