- Airport Introduction
- Pohang Airport located at Dogu-ri, Donghae-myeon, Nam-gu, Pohang City, Gyeongsangbuk-do is approximately 6.5km away from Pohang City Hall and 5km away from POSCO to the direction of Guryongpo. Pohang Airport remodeled on June 2002, and started new dynamic service with wide parking lot and various kinds of annexed facilities. On February 1970, flight field was established and Korean Air opened Pohang~Seoul line on March 1970. In 1992, Asiana Airlines opened Pohang~Seoul line on April, and Pohang~Jeju line on October. Flight is available by approximately 100,000times a year, and the capacity is 1,870,000 passengers in domestic line. Capacity of parking lot is 530 vehicles.
