Reservation for ticket is available at the Internet home page of the engea Railroad, the railroad customer center(without district number, 1544-8545), near stations, and tourist bureaus.
General customers need to enter name, resident registration number, and password at the home page when they book for the first time.
Reservations are available from 09:00am two months before departure until one hour before departure time.
one person can book 9 tickets at once. Railway members can book 10 times by 9 tickets per each time, but others 4 times by 9 tickets per each time.

discount card

this card gives 30% discount for normal fare to customers who use railway frequently
Companion card : up to 9 persons, like a family group, with one companion card
Business card
Youth Card : young people between 13-24 years old
Senior Card : old people more than 65 years old

Commuter's ticket

this is a discount ticket for people who use railway daily in regular section. People can use this card anytime in the limited period.
discount rate : 60 % of normal fare for KTX no-reservation seat

transit discount

in the case of a trip with one ticket but using KTX, Saemaeul, and Mugunghwa lines together, passengers can get 30 % discount for fares of Saemaeul, and Mugunghwa lines.
transit discount is available only when passengers change trains in 15 mins up to 1 hour after arriving at a transit station.

Discount for the disabled

The disabled passengers can get 50 % discount regardless of their level.
When the level one to three disabled use railway, one companion can also get 50 % discount.
when the disabled on the wheelchair use the special seat for the disabled, he only need to pay half of fare for normal seat(no special seat fare)

Group discount

group customers more than 10 can buy the group ticket 10 % cheaper than normal price. no double application with other discount like discount by reserved date and other discount cards
Group ticket should be reserved and paid at the same time.

Infant discount

infants(under 6 years old) are eligible for the infant ticket(their seat will be appointed near their companions' seat infant ticket is 75 % of normal fare
